In recognition of National
Manufacturing Day, the Town of Wilkesboro and Wilkes Chamber of Commerce
sponsored a Wilkes County Manufacturing Day Celebration hosted by Worldwide
Protective Products in Wilkesboro. Guests
viewed the movie, “American Made Movie” which showed the positive impact of
domestic manufacturing jobs on national and local economies in the face of
great challenges. It is the ability of
average Americans to adapt and innovate that has allowed the US to thrive. This is also true for Wilkes County
manufacturing. Everyone has the power to
transform our future and be a part of the solution through the choices you make
everyday to purchase made in the USA products. Greg Plemmons of Worldwide Protective

part of the recognition ceremonies.
