The ATA® yarn core is engineered with a combination of cut resistant components which run parallel to the para-aramid fibers that are bonded to the outside core. This allows a product that is made with ATA® to have a cut resistant factor that can be up to 2x better than a comparable product made with conventional 100% para-Aramid (Kevlar® or Twaron®).
